pts diagram Kemlon PTS Kemtites consists of a pin bonded with glass directly to a threaded body making a heremetically sealed feedthru connector. PTS Kemtites have a body with national pipe threads and do not use a rubber "O" ring seal. The pipe thread makes a meta-to-metal external pressure seal. PTS Kemtites work well in oil systems or in vacuums where the vacuum is on the threaded side of the feedthru. Kemlon does not recommend PTS feedthrus for high pressure applications. PTS feedthrus can be used at 550 deg F at low pressure or vacuum conditions. NOTE: Care must be taken when cutting the pipe threads in the mounting holes. Flat threads in mounting holes may lead to leaks even when teflon tape is used in pressure applications.
