Spring Contacts and Pins
Kemlon manufactures a variety of male and female contacts to be used in our connector systems. The standard contacts are frequently used in our boots and molded connectors. The solderable contacts are constructed of heat-treated beryllium copper, while the crimpable type are made of bronze for ease of crimping. All standard contacts have a protective brass or stainless steel tube covering the slotted portion of the insert. All inserts are gold plated and accept a .44 long pin. The bronze and beryllium copper spring contacts are rated for 350'F continuous and 500'F short term service. If a greater temperature rating is needed, specify Kemlon's special nickel alloy which is good to 900'F continuous. Other inserts and pins which may be useful for special applications are also listed below.
