BMS

bms Kemlon BMS glass sealed feedthrus consist of a pin bonded with glass directly to a threaded body creating a hermetically sealed electrical connector. These feedthrus use an 'O' ring to withstand high pressure and temperature. The 'O' ring makes the extrenal pressure seal. BMS Kemtites work well in oil systems or in vacuums where the vacuum is on the the threaded side of the feedthru.

In pressure applications the temperature rating is determined by the max. working temperature of the 'O' ring. Kemlon's tests indicate for a limited time 'O' rings are capable of 450 deg F. maximum temperature. Kemlon BMS feedthrus can be used without 'O' rings for higher temperatures when no pressure is present.
