pms connector diagram Kemlon PMS glass sealed feedthrus consist of a pin bonded with glass directly to an alloy body creating a hermetically sealed electrical connector. These connectors are designed to shoulder against the bottom of a counterbored hole and hence utilize no threads. An "O" ring is employed to seal the connector to the bulkhead. The PMS is suitable in numerous applications including high pressure oil systems, vacuum systems, and instrument systems wherin the pressure is applied in a manner consistent with maintaining the feedthru in the seated position.

In most pressure applications the Kemlon PMS is limited to the tempreature rating of the "O" ring supplied with the feedthru. Our tests indicate that for a limited time, some "O" rings are suitable for a maximum 450 deg F working temperature. Kemlon does not recommend using this feedthru without an "O" ring.
